Before Training                         During Training
Seagull's Presentation Software - After Training

When the course is complete. Close the Presentation Software by pulling down on the "File" menu and releasing the mouse button on the word, "Close".

Remember when you were preparing to train, the file folder for your course had only a file called, "AUTOCOURSE - TEST" and the Seagull Presentation Software that you placed in the folder.  When you look in the folder now you will see two additional files, "AUTOCOURSE" and "AUTOCOURSE - BackUp".
.

The file, "AUTOCOURSE" is the completed script for this course.  It contains all of the registration information, any notes to Seagull you may have saved, and detailed information about how you trained the course.  Here is a look at a small segment of a completed script:

The first column contains the interaction number.  The second is the subject being taught during that segment.  The third column is the time that Seagull projects a particular interaction should occur.  And the sixth is the actual time the event occurred.  In the above example, you can easily see that the instructor started the course late and was rushing to make up time.  If a course starts late for whatever reason, you should, first, contact Seagull, then, don't try to make up time.  You must run the course an equivalent time late as you started late.

From this point forward, you should:

1.  Send necessary information to Fort Lauderdale.
2.  Properly file your back-ups.
3.  Return the course file to its original state.

Send necessary information to Fort Lauderdale.

1.  Prepare a shipping folder:

To send course information to Fort Lauderdale, you need to create and name a folder to hold information. To do this, pull dowd on the "File" menu from the tool bar.  Release the mouse button on "New Folder".  The computer will create a folder in whatever file you have open or on the Desktop if you have nothing open.

As long as you do not touch or move anything, you can simply start typing the new name for the folder.  The folder should look as the example above (blacked out) in order to type.  If for any reason, the untitled folder does not appear as the example above, then click on it once and it should change to the necessary configuration.

Type in the new name as follows:

Each Regional Training Center and Independent Trainer has a two letter code to identify them.  In this case, "GB" stands for Greensboro, North Carolina Regional Training Center.  Your file names must always begin with your two letter code.

Then, type the last two digits of the year.

Then, the week number.  This may be from 01 to 52.  The name that you have, thus far, is called the "Course Number".  All courses you offer in the same week bear the same course number.

Next, type a dash followed by the number of students in your course.

Finally,  type the course code.  In this example the course code in "BI" which stands for Asbestos Building Inspector.  If you do not know a course code for a particular course, call Seagull.
