Seagull's Presentation Software During Training

"What's Next" Window

This window let's you know the general area or chapter of training that will be conducted at the next interaction and the time of day that it should occur.  The time does have a glitch and may not always be accurate.

"Notes to Seagull" Window

You can type notes to Seagull in this area.  These notes are recorded in your AUTOCOURSE script   Your notes will appear in the script at the exact time and date that you enter them.  Therefor, if you have a comment about a particular section of a course, simply write a note during that section.  You don't need to explain where in the course or interactive videos the comment  should be directed since it is saves with that section.  This is a useful tool in keeping Seagull courses up to date and accurate.

Once having written a note, you must save the note or it will be lost when you move on in the program.  To save a note, pull down the "File" menu from the menu bar and release the mouse button on "Save Notes to Seagull".

"Notes and Presentations Script" Window

This window tells you what you should be doing during interactions.  It's a little like a teleprompter.

When you have completed an interaction, to move on in the course, you can either hit the "ENTER" key or click on the menu bar where it says, "Click Here".

Time

For each video segment and interaction, a time remaining is indicated in the menu bar.  This let's you know how much time you have left if a tape is playing or if you are conducting an interaction such as a hands-on activity.  This helps keep the courses on schedule.

Peek

In the menu bar, you will see the word, "Peek".  When you click on "Peek", your computer screen will jump to the next interaction.  This is handy for insuring that you have all of your hands on materials ready and that there are no surprises:
